* Port Chester High School students and teachers were recently featured in an article published by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) for their work on the P.C. STEAM Brass Initiative. This summer, with their teachers' supervision, students repaired and cleaned the district's brass instruments. They also began organizing and digitizing music libraries, adding scanner codes to the instruments, and organizing musical equipment. Special thanks goes to Mr. Pereira, Ms. Neyer, and Mr. Morocho for leading this successful initiative.
* Port Chester High School student Jordan Rivera is among other student leaders across New York State to be selected as a Thespian Officer for the International Thespian Society. Thespian officers work year-round planning statewide theatre education activities, conferences, and student workshops. Special thanks goes to Ms. Baurle for pursuing this valuable opportunity for the district's students.
