Kids Heart Challenge, King Street Elementary
King Street kicked off its Kids Heart Challenge this week. Building on key learnings from nearly 50 years in America’s schools, the Kids Heart Challenge focuses on whole body well-being, helping students improve their own health and better their character while raising life-saving donations for the American Heart Association to help kids with special hearts.

Port Chester Students & Staff Partner with Westchester Knicks
On January 10, the Port Chester School District Community partnered with the Westchester Knicks to host a game against the Sioux Falls Skyforce at Westchester County Center. Students and faculty attended at a discounted rate, Port Chester High School's student newspaper, The Port Light, interviewed the coaches and players, and Port Chester Sound performed the National Anthem at the beginning of the game.

Laila Builes, Girls Wrestling
Port Chester High School's Laila Builes took third place at the Eastern States Girls Wrestling Classic recently, dominating her matches in the 2nd, 4th, and 5th seeds. Way to go, Laila!

Alumni Karaoke Mixer, Fine & Performing Arts
The Fine & Performing Arts Department hosted their Third Annual Karaoke Mixer recently, providing an opportunity for alumni to share their college experiences with current students, including their involvement in music and theater after high school. After a special Q&A, the kids sang their favorite karaoke songs together.
