Learning Technology Grant
Learning Technology Grant (LTG) – Port Chester Schools
The Port Chester-Rye Union Free School District is a recipient of the New York State Learning Technology Grant (LTG) from 2025 through 2027. This exciting opportunity enables us to expand the use of new learning technologies, making education more personalized, engaging, and accessible for all students.
Through this grant, Port Chester is:
- Personalizing Learning: Using innovative tools, including artificial intelligence, to meet the individual needs of students, including English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and advanced learners.
- Supporting Teachers and Leaders: Providing professional development that helps teachers and administrators use technology in ways that enhance classroom learning and prepare students for the future.
- Strengthening Family and Community Connections: Offering AI-powered translation and communication tools so families can stay better informed and engaged, no matter their home language.
- Promoting Collaboration: Working with BOCES and community partners to share resources, expand access to high-quality learning experiences, and create culturally and linguistically responsive classrooms.
The LTG program builds on existing initiatives, such as the Smart Scholars and the RECOVS grants, and reflects our commitment to equity, innovation, and student success. By addressing learning gaps, increasing access to technology, and supporting educators, Port Chester is preparing all students for bright futures in an ever-changing world.
