Halloween brought a joyful blend of learning, creativity, and community spirit to Port Chester Schools as students and staff embraced festive, curriculum-connected activities that supported academic growth while celebrating the season.

Across classrooms, students engaged in themed lessons such as spooky storytelling, candy-inspired math challenges, and hands-on kitchen creations like “ghostly” granola parfaits, showcasing that learning can be both meaningful and fun.

At Port Chester Middle School in particular, students and staff showcased impressive creativity through imaginative costumes and spirited ensembles. The celebration also featured the delivery of Boo-Grams, spreading smiles and seasonal cheer throughout the building. A special highlight included a trunk-or-treat experience with Rye Police Department officers, who used their patrol cars to create a memorable experience for some of our special education students.

Thank you to district-wide educators and to the PTA for supporting treats and fun activities. These celebrations highlight the strong relationships, shared traditions, and commitment to joyful learning that define our district.
