All are welcome to the official naming ceremony for The Captain Kenneth R. Force Instrumental Music Room on Thursday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the PCHS Auditorium. The event will highlight the influence of Kenneth Force and the bright future for our students in the new room!

Capt. Force served as PCHS Band Director in the late 1960s to early 1970s and his positive influence resonated with students for decades. He revolutionized the PCHS Band program by introducing the uniforms, instruments, music and marching style of the British Royal Marines. Capt. Force went on to become director of music at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, but always considered Port Chester his home. He consistently donated time and money and brokered important musical connections for our program. He is a renowned band director across the nation and is a member of the American Bandmasters Association.
